Obama did everything he could to communicate to the brave men and women in our military that he did not care about them or the sacrifices they make, every day, in order to keep our country safe. From not saluting when getting on and off Air Force One, to the cutting of military funds, to his permitting of the breakdown of the VA, to the disaster that was Benghazi, Obama did everything he could to lessen the capabilities and morale of these most noble of American citizens.
Thankfully, our new president is wiser and kinder than Obama, and so is giving our veterans the respect that they deserve, and that our Commander in Chief should show to those in our military. Trump has done this in many ways, most recently by welcoming 50 wounded service members and veterans to the White House earlier this week, as part of the kick off of the 9th annual Wounded Warrior Project Soldier Ride in Washington, D.C.

In addition to our President, our exquisite First Lady, Melania, as well as Vice President Pence and his wife, Karen, took part in this event.
The Wounded Warrier Project’s Soldier Ride is a four-day cycling event, designed to help wounded service members and veterans beat the physical, mental and emotional wounds that war has left upon many of them.
Trump told those in attendance, “You’ve risked all that you have, all that you possess to keep our people safe and our democracy secure, and we’re going to keep it going for a long time in your honor. You’ve earned our freedom with your sweat and your blood and your incredible sacrifice. We salute you. We salute your service.” He also noted that, “I call them America’s winners, because they’re winners.”
