For months now, WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange has been claiming that he possesses damning Hillary Clinton documents that will be enough to destroy her campaign forever. Assange has said he is waiting until October to release the documents close to the election as part of an “October surprise” for Clinton.
Well, it’s October, and the surprise is finally coming tomorrow.
Daily Mail reported that Assange will appear via video link to an event in Germany on Tuesday to make a massive announcement that many believe is the October surprise. Over the weekend, Assange revealed he would be making the announcement from the balcony of the Ecuadorian Embassy in London on Tuesday, but he cancelled this plan due to “security concerns.”
Donald Trump’s former right-hand man Roger Stone has repeatedly said that the WikiLeaks revelation will be enough to end Clinton’s presidential campaign for good. Two months ago, Assange boasted that he was in possession of information on Clinton which yielded “some quite unexpected angles, that are quite interesting, some even entertaining.”
“I think it’s significant. It depends on how it catches fire in the public and in the media,” Assange said.
We can only hope that Assange’s revelation really is enough to destroy Clinton’s campaign. What do you think the “October surprise” will be? Let us know your thoughts in the comments section.
