Republican Representative Trey Gowdy is questioning why an anti-Trump FBI agent had the lead during the Clinton email investigation.
During an interview with Fox News, on Thursday, Gowdy pointed out the many things that Agent Peter Strzok had done while leading that investigation, as well as the Trump-Russia investigation.
Gowdy lambasted Strozk’s choice to change the wording from “grossly negligent” to “extremely careless,” when describing Hillary Clinton’s behavior with her private email server.
“It’s really difficult to say, ‘we’re not gonna prosecute you’ when we use the precise words, so he changed it to extremely careless,” Gowdy explained. “There is no difference–the only difference is they didn’t want to use the wording in the statute.”
Then Gowdy pointed out the absurb notion that Strzok would be in charge of key witness interviews in the Clinton probe.
“If he had pro-Clinton or anti-Trump bias, what the hell was he doing interviewing Hillary Clinton?”
At a House Judiciary Committee hearing on Wednesday, Gowdy listed shocking reports of bias, demanding to know “what the hell is going on” with the FBI.
“The reason we have Special Counsel is because of conflicts of interest,” Gowdy said. “We don’t like conflicts of interest because it undermines people’s confidence in both the process and the result. And lo and behold! Those that are supposed to make sure there are no conflicts of interest seem to have a bit of their own.”
Gowdy has been doing this for quite some time and has been a watchdog of sorts, with exceptional intuitive skills. He asks the hard questions and digs for the truth.
Those in government who are acting under, what Barry Dillinger from the American Conservative Herald brilliantly calls “the HOGS Funding Corporation (Hillary, Obama, George Soros),” should be concerned, because Gowdy will bring them down with the facts.
