Sarah Palin Speaks Out Regarding O’Reilly Firing: Listen Up Liberals

Bill O’Reilly, longtime anchor on Fox News, was fired delivering a devastating blow to his millions of fans. Former Alaska Governor, Sarah Palin, spoke about the scandal in an interview with CNN.

Palin said, “If a woman believes that she is being intimidated and harassed, she needs to stand up and do something about it, not stick around for a paycheck for years and years and years and then after the fact complain about what she went through.”

Palin, who is a former Fox News contributor, suggested that the delay of any action against O’Reilly was because the victims stayed silent, not because the Fox executives ignored them.

She went on, “As a strong woman, I say we should feel more empowered than that and we should take a stand and get out of the place or blow the whistle on whoever is the perpetrator.”

Jake Tapper, who was interviewing Palin asked, “Did you ever witness or experience, God forbid, anything like that at Fox?”

“I wouldn’t put up with anything that would be perceived as intimidating or harassing,” Palin replied.

During her time as a Fox News contributor she frequently appeared on The O’Reilly Factor. Her contract was not renewed in 2015. When asked if this was due to any inappropriate treatment she stated, “You know I’m not going to speak for them, my contract wasn’t renewed-that’s the line.”
