Fox News’ Bill O’Reilly slammed the mainstream media on Wendesday’s, “The O’Reilly Factor,” for ignoring the case of two immigrant teens, in the U.S. illegally, accused of raping a 14 year old Maryland school student.
“ABC, NBC, CBS did not cover it on their nightly news broadcasts,” O’Reilly said in his “Talking Points Memo.” He went on to say, “CNN did not cover the Maryland story in primetime last night. Ditto MSNBC. That is beyond anything I have ever seen in my 40 years plus of journalism.”
“We all know why,” O’Reilly said. “Illegal immigration is a political issue.” Adding even more startling detail to the matter, O’Reilly said, “It is beyond the pale that even after this poor 14 year old girl has had her life brutalized, even after that, the Maryland House of Delegates actually voted to make the state a sanctuary situation.”
O’Reilly warned that, “Many Americans have had enough of illegal immigration. The federal government has lost control over the immigration process and many states and cities will not obey federal law creating anarchy.”
Ending the segment, O’Reilly stated, “We have a president who vows to stop the illegal alien criminal madness, but we have a media that openly opposes that.”
