One Day After Swearing in, ‘Mad Dog’ Mattis Sends DoD Employees an EPIC Letter!

Donald Trump was very proud to announce that Gen. James Mattis was confirmed by the Senate for the position of Secretary of Defense. Mattis is widely respected by members of both parties and it shows in the overwhelming vote of 98-1.

Members of the military are big supporters of Mattis as well, and Trump knew that all along. President Trump goes out of his way to honor and connect with the United States military, as well as with law enforcement.

The Young Conservatives report that after being sworn in, Gen. Mattis sent a remarkable letter to Department of Defense employees.

In the letter Mattis expressed that DoD employees serve as “guardians” of the nation and have a responsibility to uphold unity within the country. He wrote, “You represent an America committed to the common good; an America that is never complacent about defending it’s freedoms; an America that remains a steady beacon of hope for all mankind.”

It’s easy to see why Gen. Mattis is so well-respected, as the eloquent letter is focused on not only American freedom, but well-being of all people across the globe.

The letter shows compassion as well as strength, as Mattis writes, “Every action we take will be designed to ensure our military is ready to fight today and in the future.”

Gen. Mattis concluded the letter by pledging to do his best as Secretary. Mattis has a reputation for keeping his word. The American people can rest assured he will be a strong Secretary of Defense.
