Obama Met With Russian Ambassador 22 TIMES

Russian ambassador to the U.S., Sergey Kislyak.

Ah, the hypocrisy of it all. Democrats are up in arms about former Senator, and now Attorney General, Jeff Sessions meeting with Russian Ambassador, Sergey Kislyak, twice in 2016. These sore-losing liberals are pulling out all the stops, trying to convince the world that Sessions’ meetings with the Kislyak were inappropriate, if not illegal.

However, they should stop for a minute and review the White House visitor logs during Obama’s terms in office. If they did, they would realize that Obama or his staff had met with Kislyak no less than 22 times!

Sen. Claire McCaskill (Democrat, Missouri), speaking on Capitol Hill in Washington.

According to an article on Breitbart.com, “Ambassador Kislyak met with several of Obama’s top aides including National Security Council member Gary Samore, terrorism advisor Robert Malley, economic advisor Lawrence Summers, trade representative Michael Froman, and John Holdren. Kislyak also visited the White House during several holiday events and other such meetings.”

However, Kislyak’s meetings with Democrats does not stop there. As Breitbart explains, “Since the left’s accusations against U.S. Attorney General Jeff Sessions, a growing group of other Democrat leaders have also been revealed as having “met with Russians.”

One of these leaders was Missouri Democrat Senator Claire McCaskill, who insisted she never met with any Russians. Unfortunately for McCaskill, her Twitter feed gave her secrets away, as she had, in 2013 and 2015, met with Kislyak.

Senator Joe Manchin, a Democrat from West Virginia, noted that he, too, had met with the Russian diplomat, as part of his work as a senator. This was a particularly interesting comment as Sessions, too, met with Kislyak as part of his Senatorial duties.

But it goes on from there. In fact, when all the meetings of Kislyak and Democratic Senators were tallied, the grand total was over 30.

The reality is, and even Senator Manchin had to admit this, “… just about every Senator has met with Russian officials.”

What do you think of this controversy? Did Sessions do something wrong? Or was he simply performing his duties as a Senator, just like every other Senator? Tell us your thoughts in the comments, below!
