Meryl Streep Calls Trump Supporters NAZIS – INSTANTLY Regrets It

Last month, Hollywood legend Meryl Streep bashed Donald Trump during a ridiculous speech at the Golden Globe Awards. On Saturday, she doubled down on this by giving a speech in which she slammed Trump and all of his supporters, who she compared to Nazis.

The Gateway Pundit reported that Streep gave the speech in front of a cheering crowd of liberals at a fundraising gala for the Human Rights Campaign, a national LGBT group. There, she referenced Trump’s tweet about her after the Golden Globes in which he described her as “overrated.”

“Yes, I am the most overrated, over-decorated and currently, I am the most over-berated actress … of my generation,” she said.

Streep went on to say that she wished she could just stay home “and load the dishwasher” instead of speak out against Trump, but she claimed that “the weight of all these honors” she’s received in her career compelled her to not stay silent.

“It’s terrifying to put the target on your forehead,” she said. “And it sets you up for all sorts of attacks and armies of brownshirts and bots and worse, and the only way you can do it is if you feel you have to. You have to! You don’t have an option. You have to.”

Of course, Streep did not elaborate on the attacks she has supposedly suffered, since they likely never happened. The term “brownshirts” is one that was originally used to describe an early Nazi militia.

Unfortunately for Streep, her latest rant against Trump did not go over so well:
