Melania Trump Makes Surprising Announcement About Stormy Daniels

Melania Trump just spoke out through her spokeswoman to apparently push back against claims made by Rudy Giuliani that she believes that her husband, Donald Trump, did not have an affair with adult film star Stormy Daniels.

Independent Journal Review reported that when New York Times journalist Maggie Haberman asked Melania’s Communications Director Stephanie Grisham to comment on this, she said that did not think the First Lady had talked to Giuliani about the Daniels allegations.

“I don’t believe Mrs. Trump has ever discussed her thoughts on anything with Mr. Giuliani,” she said.

This came after Giuliani, who is one of Trump’s attorneys, said that Melania “believes her husband” that the affair never took place. He also slammed Daniels for starring in pornographic films, saying that anyone could “just look” at her and know she wasn’t telling the truth.

“I’m sorry I don’t respect a porn star the way I respect a career woman or a woman of substance or a woman who isn’t going to sell her body for sexual exploitation,” he said.

Daniels’ lawyer Michael Avenatti fired back by calling Giuliani a “misogynist.”

“If any atty for any Fortune 500 co. made the public comments that Giuliani did yesterday (which he affirmed this morning), they would be immediately fired,” Avenatti wrote on Twitter. “Giuliani must be fired by Mr. Trump NOW.”

The fact that Melania felt the need to specifically challenge Giuliani’s claims that she believes her husband indicates that she may not believe him after all. We can only hope that the Trumps have worked past this and that Daniels’ allegations do not pose a threat to their marriage.
