Megyn Kelly Officially Leaving Fox News – Heading to Competitor

It was announced today that Megyn Kelly is officially leaving the Fox News Channel.

The blonde anchor will be taking a position with NBC News. From the Daily Mail:

The New York Times reports that NBC News chairman Andrew Lack won the heated battle to land Kelly by ‘offering her a triple role in which she will host her own daytime news and discussion program, anchor an in-depth Sunday night news show and take regular part in the network’s special political programming and other big-event coverage.’

Kelly’s decision to not resign with Fox News, where she has worked for the past decade and who had reportedly offered the host an annual contract of $20 million, is a devastating blow for the network.

Kelly lost many of her Fox News fans after she attacked Donald Trump personally at a Republican Primary debate. There were even viral petitions calling for FNC to fire her.

Fox News has not yet announced Megyn Kelly’s replacement. We will keep you up-to-date as the story develops.
