A married substitute teacher learned her fate in Ohio this week after she was arrested for having sex with an 18 year-old student that her own husband had plied with alcohol.
Daily Mail reported that Jessica Storer, 29, was sentenced to two years in prison for having sex with the teenager at her Pandora home. Storer and he husband Derrick, 33, had invited a group of students to their home back in December and gave them alcohol before she had sex with one.
The victim wrote a letter that was read in court in which he said he has attempted suicide since the incident and been harassed at his school. He explained that she manipulated him after he opened up to her about a breakup.
“I should have been able to trust her,” he said. “I’m trying to get my life together. Jessica Storer has really made the last six months a living hell for me. I hated it and I hated myself for doing it.”
The victim’s father also spoke, saying, “He is trying to make his way out of this. Our son is going to have to live with this for the rest of his life.”
Storer pleaded guilty to sexual battery, and in addition to the two year prison sentence, she will also have to register as a sex offender for the rest of her life. Her husband pleaded guilty to multiple counts of first-degree misdemeanor furnishing alcohol to a minor in April and is now facing 18 months in prison.
