The moderator of the first presidential debate, Lester lylt, made no secret of the fact that he prefers Hillary Clinton to Donald Trump. He did everything he could to help Clinton by choosing questions specifically crafted to make Trump bad. He interrupted Trump 12 times and only interrupted Hillary once. And he never brought up the Benghazi scandal, the email scandal, or Hillary’s health — which has become a valid concern over the course of the campaign.
It seems, however, that Holt’s blatant bias has come back to bite him. He’s been called out on several mainstream media networks.
Neil Cavuto of Fox News called out Holt over one of the most disturbing exchanges in the debate, when Trump was accused of supporting the Iraq War. Holt inaccurately insisted that the GOP presidential nominee expressed support for the war during an interview with Cavuto.
Cavuto shot down Holt once and for all by airing the original interview. It was immediately clear that Trump did actually not support the war.
During that interview, Trump said, “You know, what happened to the days of Douglas MacArthur? I mean he would go in and attack. He wouldn’t talk. I mean we have to, you know, it’s sort of like either do it or don’t do it.”
He added, “Well, he’s (Bush) either got to do something or not do something perhaps. Because perhaps he shouldn’t be doing it yet. Perhaps we should be waiting for the United Nations. You know, he’s under a lot of pressure.”
It’s clear that Trump was unsure of whether invading Iraq was the right choice. The full interview can be seen here:
Rather than hammering Trump for supporting the war, which he clearly didn’t, perhaps Holt should have asked Hillary why she voted in FAVOR OF THE WAR!
But of course, he wouldn’t do that… Because he’s member of the bias mainstream media.
This is just blatant proof of how bias the media is. SHARE this article to spread the word!
