What was missing at the White House correspondents’ dinner? The President! Trump spent his evening at the Pennsylvania Farm Show Complex in Harrisburg, PA, with his rambunctious supporters.
President Trump made more than a mention of the one-sided coverage of his first 100 days. He stated a recent study by MRC showed that 89 percent of coverage from ABC, CBS and NBC was negative towards he and his administration.
Trump said that a big group of Washington media and Hollywood actors are “consoling” each other in a ballroom in the nation’s capital. He stated he was “thrilled” to be more than 100 miles away from what he called, the “Washington swamp.” The presidents statements were greeted with booming applause. He said they will all be sitting there bored watching and wishing they were there with him.
He further pointed out media outlets such as CNN and MSNBC are fake news, which we are all painfully aware of at this point. “Incompetence and dishonesty,” he remarked. Trump made clear how he felt, saying that they deserved “a very, very big fat failing grade” for their coverage
