FBI Director Comey Makes INFURIATING Announcement at Trump/Russia Hearing

FBI Director James Comey is currently testifying before the House Intelligence Committee. He is expected to address two controversial topics: President Donald Trump’s claim that former President Barack Obama wiretapped Trump Tower during the 2016 presidential campaign, and allegations of collusion between the Trump campaign and the Russian government.

Comey made a bombshell announcement that is sure to upset President Donald Trump — he said that the FBI is, in fact, actively investigating Russian efforts to interfere with the 2016 presidential election. Also being investigated is the Trump campaign’s alleged willingness to work with the Russians.

The fact that the FBI is investigating Trump’s ties to Russia is an example of pure partisan politics. At this time, there is not one SHRED of evidence that Russia affected the election in any way. Yet the Democrats continue to hyper-focus on Russia anyways.

“I can promise you we will follow the facts wherever they may lead,” Comey said.

When asked how long the process would take, Comey could not give an answer. He said, “This work is very complex and there is no way for me to give you a timetable as to when it will be done.”

Before Comey spoke, Rep. Adam Smith, a ranking member of the House Intel. Committee, made several remarks:

The hearing is happening LIVE, and the issue of President Obama allegedly wiretapping Trump has not been addressed yet. However, that issue is exepcted to be discussed at some point, as well.
