There was a time when Dr. Ben Carson was a leading candidate for the Republican presidential nomination, but it appears those days are gone.
In the last ten days, Carson has lost both his campaign manager and his communications director. Now, according to WMUR, all five paid staff members of Carson’s 2016 Super PAC in the key primary state of New Hampshire have quit their jobs. Making matters worse, the five staff members all quit to become staffers for Carson’s opponent Ted Cruz.
The staff made the announcement through a spokesman, saying that Cruz is the most conservative candidate in the race that can win. They also said that they decided to quit because Carson had barely spent any time in New Hampshire.
“We hold Dr. Carson in the highest regard,” Sickles said. “This is a man we revere, but we think it is important that our party nominate a conservative and get behind a single conservative who can win, and we strongly believe that candidate is Ted Cruz.”
This could be the final nail in the coffin for Carson, who is legions of supporters by the day. Do you think he still has a chance? Let us know your thoughts in the comments section.
