Donations to the Clinton Foundation have been dwindling significantly throughout her campaign. According to the New York Post, contributions to the Clinton Foundation have fallen by nearly 37 percent in the past year.
Could all the Clinton scandals finally be catching up with them?
Technically Hillary left her duties at the Foundation behind in April of 2015, but allegations about the Foundation manipulating donor money for private benefit followed Hillary throughout her presidential run.
The Clintons are also known for their knack of making money in the way of public appearances. This has infamously been referred to as the Clintons love of pay-to-play politics.
Donations to the Clinton Foundation dropping in record numbers might have something to do with the fact that the Clinton Health Access Initiative, CHAI, has been under scrutiny for failing to report contributions.
According to an investigative report by Scripps Washington Bureau, CHAI failed to list $225 million in contributions on disclosure forms with the New York state government between the years of 2010 and 2014.
The email scandals and FBI investigations may have also played a role in peoples unwillingness to donate to the Clinton name.
Another issue which is largely ignored by the mainstream media, are grassroots efforts by Haitians and Haitian-Americans to call the Clintons out for their manipulation of donations to the country of Haiti.
Watch Haitian protesters outside of Clinton’s office, claiming the Clintons took donation money and gave virtually nothing to the people of Haiti:
The Clintons clearly have many enemies, and the Clinton Foundation is finally suffering.
