Barack Obama wants Americans to believe that we are in no danger of terror attacks from radical Islamists. The State Department, however, disagrees.
NBC News reported that the State Department issued an alert to all Americans planning to travel to Europe this summer, as they say the continent is going to be targeted by numerous terror attacks in the coming months.
“The large number of tourists visiting Europe in the summer months will present greater targets for terrorists planning attacks in public locations, especially at large events,” the State Department said in a travel advisory
The State Department warned about two events in particular – the Catholic Church’s World Youth Day in late July in Poland and the European Soccer Championship, which France will host from June 10-July 10 – as things terrorists will likely target.
France has been in a state of emergency ever since the Paris attacks in November of 2015 in which ISIS viciously slaughtered 130 people.
