People are angry at the verdict in the Kate Steinle murder trial, and #BoycottSanFrancisco is going viral as San Francisco defends its sanctuary policies in the wake of the not-guilty verdict in the Kate Steinle murder trial.
Breitbart News reported on Novermber 30, that a California jury found seven-time felon and five-time deported illegal alien Jose Garcia Zarate not guilty of murdering 32-year-old Kate Steinle in 2015 in the sanctuary city of San Francisco.
Zarate revealed in court that he came to San Francisco because he knew their sanctuary city rules would keep him from being deported, to no avail. The city has actually insisted it won’t change it’s ways, instead of fixing the legal loophole.
Zarate had not only been deported five times, but was a convicted felon and well-known drug dealer. Because of the city’s sanctuary policies, he felt safe on the San Francisco pier, where Steinle, 32, would eventually be murdered in 2015.
Reaction to the jury’s decision, after more than 24 hours of deliberation over six days, was swift. President Donald Trump called the verdict “disgraceful.” Attorney General Jeff Sessions said San Franciso’s status as a sanctuary city was largely to blame for what happened that summer day. Before the shooting, officials in San Francisco released Zarate from custody instead of turning him over to immigration authorities.
A disgraceful verdict in the Kate Steinle case! No wonder the people of our Country are so angry with Illegal Immigration.

Democrat State Sen. Scott Wiener said, “People have every right to be critical of the verdict and speak out about that…[but] the president is using this to fan the flames of hatred against immigrants, to demonize immigrants.”
Former Democrat State Sen. Mark Leno also criticized Trump, claiming he has “no shame.”
Democrat Mayor Ed Lee’s spokeswoman said, “San Francisco is and always will be a sanctuary city.”
