President Obama was recently rushed to the hospital after his health took a sudden turn for the worse, and doctors then gave him some news that he definitely didn’t want to hear.
According to American News, doctors at the Walter Reed National Military Medical Center have diagnosed Obama with acid reflux. The diagnosis was made after Obama underwent a CT scan for a chronic sore throat. An ear, nose and throat specialist from Fort Belvoir Medical Center in Northern Virginia then conducted a fiber optic exam on the president.
Dr. Ronny L. Jackson, Obama’s own physician, said that the exam revealed “soft tissue swelling” and that “further evaluation with a routine CT scan was prudent.”
“The president’s symptoms are consistent with soft tissue inflammation related to acid reflux and will be treated accordingly,” Jackson told reporters.
Acid reflux is typically caused by stress, aggravation, and a poor diet. Obama will likely be put on serious medication to control his heartburn, and will have to stay away from certain foods. It looks like Obama isn’t nearly as invincible as he thinks he is!
