Last week, we reported that country music singer Loretta Lynn had suffered a stroke. Now, her sister Crystal Gale has broken her silence about Lynn’s condition, and she still needs her fans to pray.
“Thank you for all the prayers and well wishes for Loretta. Keep them coming!” Gayle wrote on Twitter, according to Fox News. “We are lucky, in this day and age, to have wonderful doctors and nurses taking great care of her.”

The 85 year-old country music legend suffered a stroke at her Hurricane Mills, Tennessee home on May 4. Though doctors are hopeful that she will make a full recovery, prayers are still needed until she is able to get back on her feet. Her condition is still bad enough that doctors are urging her to cease all performing until she recuperates.
The country music world has been sending all of it’s love and support to Lynn as she tries to recover from this.
“Get out of there soon, honey. Get back to playing music. We miss you already. I love you very, very much,” singer Garth Brooks said in a message to Lynn.
Please keep Loretta Lynn in your thoughts and prayers as well!
