Donald Trump told Fox News live that Al Sharpton is a “professional con-man” who “doesn’t believe what he’s saying.”
Looks like Sharpton will no longer enjoy the White House dinners and parties that he enjoyed with President Obama!
Conservative Tribune shared a video of Trump slamming Sharpton on air, days after Ismaaiyl Abdullah Brinsley murdered two New York Police Department officers in 2014. The New York Post reported “The Rev. Al Sharpton claimed […] that he’s received death threats in the wake of execution-style murders of two NYPD officers in Brooklyn.” Not the right time, Al. Show some respect.
Trump has known all along that Sharpton was a race-baiting liar. He says Sharpton “has a lot of fun doing it and he goes out and he pretends that he cares deeply and you wonder what goes on in his mind. But it’s a disgrace that he’s leading a group of people.”
Trump and Sharpton have a history of feuding publicly. Conservative Fighters reports “Reverend Al Sharpton announced that he would be marching on Washington on Martin Luther King Day to protest Donald Trump’s inauguration, which will happen just five days later,” but received no support and had less than 1,000 Facebook users interested in the event.
Trump went on to say that Sharpton purposely “Turn[ed] things around,” after the 2014 shooting by making himself the victim, instead of giving attention to the real victims: the fallen heroes and their families.
“That was very smart of him to do,” said Trump. “All of a sudden it’s about [Sharpton] and people aren’t blaming him. They’re saying, ‘Let’s feel sorry for Al.’”
It’s hard to “feel sorry for Al,” but many liberals still fall for his insane rhetoric.
